Bruises

Explanation:

First you add a red base in a stippling motion to show irritation of the skin. For this I used a eye crease brush and red lipstick. You need to set the lipstick so other colors blend and don't stick in one place. To set the lipstick you can use mineral powder, translucent powder, or baby powder.

Then you start "bruising" with purples in the same stippling motion to create broken blood capillaries.

To enhance the "bruising" you can add blues, which is what you see to the right. You can also add greens and yellows if you would like.

Finally, take a soft and fluffy makeup brush to slightly blend everything together and get rid of harsh lines. Don't over do it and blend all the colors into one, you want to see individual colors.
