This is Woody's boot from the movie "Toy Story".
This is the special fx makeup I will be trying to recreate.
This is my finished product.
Expectation
Reality
Take Ben Nye's Scar Wax and lotion to make a smooth layer of skin like in my Project #3. Then make the "Andy" carving and powder it to get rid of the shine from the lotion. Take black or dark red colors to define the wound, use Ben Nye's Fresh Scab for blood and then continue using the Fresh Scab for a more messy look and take a thin and runny fake blood for a more realistic look.
Take Ben Nye Nose and Scar Wax to make a layer of "skin". Use your fingers to spread out the wax and take a flat edge tool or spatula to help blend the wax to the skin. Use lotion to get rid of the harsh lines. Then powder the wax and use a flat tool to cut out the letters. (Use lotion on the edge of your tool to keep the wax from sticking.) On the inside of the laceration use black for dimension, then use Ben Nye Fresh Scab over the black and spread it up the edges. Smear fake blood in the letters and smudge it around the corners.
